If you love Broadway shows should love coming to a performance of Hamilton at Music Hall Kansas City on Saturday 28th February 2026. As an instant classic, the musical thrills and entertains both Broadway Theater veterans and first-time audiences alike. Whether a person sees it for the first time or the fourth, it won't disappoint.
Created by the incredible Lin-Manuel Miranda, Hamilton tells the story of our nation's founding fathers. Specifically, it relates the slightly fictionalized retelling of Alexander Hamilton and his role in the Countries war for independence.
While the show provides a traditional perspective, you'll appreciate this modern hip-hop musical for its fresh theme on a Broadway production. Instead of well-established styles like George Gershwin, Lin-Manuel Miranda incorporates 21st-century Hip Hop trends to captivate the next generation of Broadway fans. Audiences and fans alike acknowledge the production as a piece of art.
Sympathize with lead character Alexander Hamilton as he navigates the trials of war and its aftermath across the span of his adult life. Watch as he fights for his country, falls in love, and continues to pursue greatness in this excellent and unique production.

After tours in the world’s most popular theaters such as Broadway itself and London’s West End, Hamilton will now also be playing for a limited season this winter in Music Hall Kansas City of Kansas City, an especially famous entertainment venue renown for its leading amenities fit to host world-class plays and musicals.
Hamilton honors the life of Alexander Hamilton, conceived and scored by the multi-talented Lin-Manuel Miranda, based off the 2004 biography of Ron Chernow. It tells the historical times of Hamilton himself in a ‘hipper’ style, staying dedicated to the facts behind his life but with artistic flair and musical scoring that makes Hamilton extremely entertaining. The Musical really began off Broadway in August of 2015 and was quickly met with spectacular reviews for its debut. As well as a number of press articles and reviewers, The Washington Post, called it “making ecstatic history”, as the Musical’s opening night with its spectacular cast which included the likes of show creator Lin-Manuel Miranda himself in the title role and Tony Award winner Jonathan Groff, astounded audiences in its first performance with a brilliant opening night. Hamilton went on over the next ten years to collect eleven Tony Awards from sixteen nominations, as well as Olivier, Grammy, and Pulitzer Prize Awards.
Ever since its debut, the Musical has also gone on to perform in several theaters across the world, where it has been received with continuously great reviews. BroadwayWorld calls The production “the hottest ticket in town”, as it lends itself to a broad range in audience because of being relatable to both the more seasoned generations who were interested in the history behind the Musical, and the younger generations that wanted the exciting and innovative concept behind Hamilton. Over in London’s West End, TimeOut mentions their worry behind Hamilton being overblown, but that “Lin-Manuel Miranda’s musical about Alexander Hamilton, the first secretary of the U.S. Treasury, is actually better than the hype suggests”. Even just recently with a touring cast in its Manila, Philippines’ performance, PEP PH describes the show as a “visual and sensory feast that adds layers of depth to the narrative”; “This musical is a masterpiece not because it tells a flawless story, but because it brilliantly captures the essence of the imperfect human experience, and in doing so, it achieves perfection on the stage”, they expanded.
Newspaper critics and viewers alike agree that Hamilton is a must-attend this winter as it picks up its runs all over America.
