Hamilton at Kansas City Music Hall

After appearances in the world’s most famous venues such as Broadway itself and London’s West End, Hamilton will now also be performing for a limited season this February in Music Hall Kansas City of Kansas City, an especially renowned theatre acclaimed for its favorite amenities fit to host top-of-the-line plays and shows.

Hamilton honors the life of Alexander Hamilton, produced and scored by the multi-talented Lin-Manuel Miranda, basing it off the 2004 biography of Ron Chernow. It retells the real times of Alexander Hamilton in a ‘hipper’ format, staying faithful to the events behind his life but with artistic flair and musical scoring that makes Hamilton extremely entertaining. The Musical really began off Broadway in mid 2015 and was immediately met with unsurpassed reviews for its debut. As well as plenty of critics and reviewers, The Washington Post, called it “making ecstatic history”, as Hamilton’s performance with its unsurpassed cast including the likes of show creator Lin-Manuel Miranda himself in the title role and Tony Award winner Jonathan Groff, wowed audiences in its premiere with a vibrant production. The Musical went on over the next ten years to earn eleven Tony Awards from sixteen nominations, in addition to Olivier, Grammy, and Pulitzer Prize Awards.

Ever since its debut, the production has since traveled to be performed in lots of theaters across the globe, where it has been received with continuously raving reviews. Even just recently the touring cast in its Manila, Philippines’ performance, PEP PH describes Hamilton as a “visual and sensory feast that adds layers of depth to the narrative”; “This musical is a masterpiece not because it tells a flawless story, but because it brilliantly captures the essence of the imperfect human experience, and in doing so, it achieves perfection on the stage”, they stated.

Both critics and viewers alike agree that the production is a must-see this winter as it picks up its runs all over America.
