The depths of emotion in Musicals can be found this January in Kansas City, Missouri when Six the Musical comes to perform at the Music Hall Kansas City stage on Sunday, Sunday 31st January 2027. The premise is uniquely simple. Six sees the wives of Henry VIII compete for the saddest tale. Anne Boleyn, played perfectly by the boisterous Millie O’Connell, insists that getting beheaded is the ultimate end to a troubled existence, something perhaps only the downtrodden and equally headless Catherine Howard (Aimie Atkinson) could match. Yet each of the title’s six has their own tale of woe, and more importantly, their own sense of empowerment to deliver. Don’t miss out on this unique event! Click the Buy Tickets button below.

Six is that stage sensation you never knew you wanted, but you had no idea you wanted! If we're honest, no one could have predicted being a huge enthusiast of a performance that parodies the lives of the wives of Henry VIII and envisions them doing a musical! The background that you're going to need to “get” this production is in your old textbooks. That might make an engaging experience even before you step into the theater because it could be a good idea to revisit what happened with each of Henry's wives before you make it out to Music Hall Kansas City on Sunday 31st January 2027. That way, you'll get all of the inside jokes and the banter, particularly between Catherine of Aragon and Anne Boleyn.
History teachers everywhere can take notes from the playwrights of this one! It's hard to get people engaged in a history course. When Henry VIII is involved, though, the story includes intrigue, beheadings, and a ton of affairs, so it draws people in that people often are drawn to these things. The way it's showcased through all of these tunes is going to have you cheering, laughing, swaying, doing all that you'd hope to experience at a musical! By the way, it's also a much less formal than your typical musical experience, so that idea of being on your feet won't be too frowned upon. Picture it as the Mamma Mia experience!
Some of the greatest spots inside any theater for a stage show are typically toward the middle of the theater. That's the center, anyway you want to look at it, which means in the middle section and at least a handful of rows away from the stage. At a show like this, it could also be a wise idea to find seats at Music Hall Kansas City with a bit more legroom. You’ll appreciate it!
